Calendar of Events
The society hosts a range of events during each calendar year including during the May History Festival with guided walks in Brownhill Creek Recreation Park and Ellisons Gully, a Mid-Year High Tea, two bus trips outside of Adelaide to places of historic interest and occasional talks on heritage subjects.
Past events have included guided tours of Mitcham Village, Urrbrae House, Parliament House, the Waite Arboretum, Colonel Light Gardens, Unley Park, Museum of Economic Botany, Adelaide Town Hall and a talk held in the historic Mitcham Institute about the Great Air Race in 1919 from England to Australia and the Vickers Vimy aircraft at Adelaide Airport.
